Qingdao Industrial Internet College was inaugurated in QUST Laoshan Campus on the morning of July 15.

Wang Qingxian, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Secretary of CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee, and Ma Lianxiang, Secretary of the Party committee of QUST attended the opening ceremony and jointly unveiled the nameplate for the college.

Chen Kezheng, President of QUST, signed strategic cooperation agreements with representatives of cooperation organizations who are Lv Peng, Director of Qingdao Science and Technology Bureau, Liu Pengzhao, Director of Qingdao Education Bureau, Bian Cheng, Director of Qingdao Industry and Information Bureau, Hu Yiying, Director of Qingdao Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Zhao Yan, mayor of Laoshan district. 

It is reported that Qingdao Industrial Internet College of QUST is supported by Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and Qingdao Government, and is jointly built by QUST, Qingdao Science and Technology Bureau, Qingdao Education Bureau,  Qingdao Industry and Information Bureau, Qingdao Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and the People’s Government of Laoshan district. It is a new type of open college which is oriented towards moral talents, industry development and innovation. It aims to train top-notch talents and to build a technological innovation transformation base, so as to empower Qingdao to establish the world’s capital of industrial Internet.
