Recently, the Ministry of Education (MOE) issued a document to approve the Undergraduate Joint-education Program for Animation between Qingdao University of Science and Technology (QUST) and the University of Bradford (UK). The Program will enroll 100 students every year. And it is the 7th Sino-foreign joint-education programs of QUST.
Both the number of students and the quality of personnel training of QUST’s joint-education programs are in the forefront of the Sino-foreign joint-education in Shandong Province. The Undergraduate Joint-education Program for Animation is to meet the needs of the national development of the cultural industry. And it is of great importance for QUST to enhance its core competitiveness and international influence and to promote its internationalization of education.
Now QUST has one Sino-foreignJoint-education institution(CDTF), six undergraduatejoint-education programs, and onepostgraduate joint-education program. It hasstarted the Sino-Thailand International Rubber College, the first overseasjoint-education institution amongChina's engineering colleges and universities in Shandong Province. And itsSino-German Engineering Institute isunder construction. A multi-level, multi-disciplinary and multi-major joint-education structure has basically formed in QUST, which covers undergraduate and postgraduate education, and the disciplines of science, engineering and art. Its cooperativeuniversities are from Germany, South Korea, France, the United States, Thailand andthe United Kingdom.
