On the afternoon of March 10th, the delegation of Western Sydney University (WSU) visited QUST. On behalf of these two universities,Professor Barney Glover,President of WSU andProfessor Ma Lianxiang,secretary of the Party Committee and president of QUST, signed a cooperation agreement. TheVice-Chancellor of WSU Professor Yi-Chen Lanand the vicesecretary of the Party committee of QUST Li Qinglingattended the signing ceremony.
Professor Ma gave a warm welcome to the guests and briefly introduced QUST and its international cooperation achievements. He hoped that bothsides can take the cooperation programwithSchool of Foreign languages as the entry point, deepen the talent training and scientific research cooperation, constantly explore and innovate the cooperation patterns, and achieve new breakthroughs.Professor Barney Glover expressed his wish to strengthen the cooperation with QUST, and he is willing to establish cooperation base in Australia with QUST, expand exchange areas, deepen cooperation connotations, andpromotethe cooperation to a newlevel.
Leaders from International Office, School of Foreign languages andSchool of Arts also attended the ceremony.
