“Austrian Days” lectures, a series of German lectures which were organized collaboratively by Ministries of Education of China and
Austria
, were successfully hosted by QUST from 23rd to 24th, October, with the help and effort of International Exchange Cooperation Office, Sino-German College of Science and Technology, and
School
of
Foreign Languages
. Mr. Li Qingling, Vice President of QUST, and Ms. Zhao-Heissenberger, an officer of Austria Ministry of Education, both addressed the opening ceremony of “Austrian Days”.
Led by Ms. Zhao-Heissenberger, a group of experts specialized in German gave teachers and students of QUST a series of wonderfully exciting lectures. They vividly introduced to Chinese students today’s
Austria
and her development in arts, literature and history. More importantly, they generously offered their suggestions and experience to Chinese teachers and students in German teaching and learning during their effective communication.
“Austrian Days” greatly motivated teachers and students in QUST to learn German, provided a precious opportunity for us to more deeply understand
Austria
, and established a bridge of friendship between QUST and universities in
Austria
for possible future cooperation.
