Recently Sino-German College of Science and Technology (http://cdtf.qust.edu.cn/) has been granted the Permit for Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools of People’s Republic of China by the Ministry of Education (number: MOE37DEA02DNR200300560), with a period of validity to 31st of December, 2025.
In April, 2006, the inspection team from Ministry of Education evaluated Sino-German College of Science and Technology (CDTF in German). The team considered CDTF as an organization with normal educational activities, complete teaching documents, and legal admission and degree-awarding systems. Getting the License means CDTF has gained the acknowledgement of Ministry of Education and the society, and this has greatly reinforced the confidence of CDTF to develop consistently and steadily in the future. To further positively influence the economic and cultural communication between China and Germany, CDTF will, with the support from both governments, go on implementing laws and regulations actively such as Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools, carefully absorb the advanced experience in running schools with strict management, take this golden opportunity to encourage innovations and broaden the academia area based on the advantage majors of QUST and universities in Germany, and establish a model for Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools.
Chronicle of Events of CDTF
In May, 2001, prepared to establish the college; In September, began enrolling students.
In April, 2004, approved to establish CDTF in QUST by the Education Committee of Shandong Province and Germany Federal Ministry of Education and Science; In October, signed the joint-education agreements with University Paderborn.
In December, 2005, CDTF was approved by DDAD expert panel. They considered CDTF as a cooperatively-run project only a little inferior to University of Cairo, occupying the second position on the list of cooperatively-run projects supported by DDAD around the globe.
In April, 2006, CDTF passed the evaluation of Ministry of Education with good complimentary feedback.
In July, 2007, CDTF signed a cooperative agreement Fachhochschule Koblenz, University of Applied Sciences (Germany).
In April, 2008, CDTF signed a cooperative agreement University of Siegen (Germany)
