Recently, a German delegation of 7 people from Youth Civil Servants Association, Nordrhein-Westfalen visited Qingdao University of Science and Technology. Li Qingling, deputy secretary of the university CPC committee met them.

Li Qingling extended a warm welcome on behalf of the university. He introduced to the German guests the basics of the University and the general situation of Sino-foreign cooperative education. He spoke highly of the achievements in the cooperation between QUST and the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen. He pointed out, the "China Strategy" (2015-2020) issued by German Ministry of Education and Research helped to deepen the cooperation between the two countries in the fields of education and S&T. He hoped to take this visit as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation and make new contributions to education, S&T and culture of the two countries.

Mohettez Peltz, the director of Youth Civil Servants Association, expressed his gratitude for the reception of QUST and gave high evaluation of the achievements of Sino-German cooperation in education. The German delegation had a discussion with the University's overseas students and teachers, and Chinese student representatives.
