On the afternoon of November 5^th ,Gao Yunlong, an outstanding alumni,ViceChairman of the 13^th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), andChairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, visitedQingdao University of Science and Technology (QUST).Wang Suilian,Deputy Director of Shandong Provincial People's Congress and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, Jiang Qiaozhen,Vice Chairman of Qingdao Municipal CPPCC and Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, Ma Lianxiang, PartySecretaryand Presidentof QUST,andWei Dianhua, Vice President of QUST accompanied Gao during his visit.

Backto the campus that had been away forover 30 years,Gao Yunlong recalled the bits and pieces ofQUST at that time with deep feeling. He visited theCollege of Chemical Engineering, and theNational Engineering Research Center for Rubber and Tire.Gao Yunlongappreciatedthe tremendous changes and outstanding achievements of his alma mater in recent years. On behalf ofQUST, Ma LianxiangwarmlywelcomedGao Yunlong andexpressed his heartfelt gratitude to Gao’s long-term concern and support forQUST. He introduced Gao Yunlong and the accompanying officialsto the developmentand changes of QUST in the areas likediscipline construction,talent cultivation, and integration of government, industry,educationand research.

During thevisit, Gao Yunlong shared the friendship and the development with hisformercolleagues at QUST andhis collegeroommates.
