Gala Held for Welcoming Freshmen, Celebrating China’s 69 Anniversary andCommemorating the 40thAnniversary of theReform andOpeningUp
On the evening of October 11th and 12th, Qingdao University of Science and Technology (QUST) held a “Gala of Building the Dream for the New Era” at Si Fang Campus and Laoshan Campus to welcome freshmen, celebrate China’s 69 anniversary and commemorate the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening up.QUST leaders, Ma Lianxiang, Zhang Shuhua, Chen Kezheng, Li Weinian, and leaders of associated departments and colleges watched the show together with the freshmen.
The Gala is divided into three chapters: Reform Road, New Era, and Youth Will. It opened with the video “People of QUST in the New Era” and ended with “Youth Campus” sang by the audience. The programs of the Gala showed the excellent achievements of QUST teachers and students, the firm determination and high goal of serving the country and its people through building up QUST into a high-level university.
