On May 21, the Eighth Council of Sino-German Technology College (CDTF in German) was held in room 4008 in Laoshan Campus of QUST. People present are Prof. Risch, the President of UPB, Mr. Plato, the chancellor of UPB, QUST Chancellor Prof. Gao Qing, President Prof. Ma Lianxiangand Vice-President Prof. Li Qingling and the relevant staff of CDTF, IECO and the International College. Prof. Ma Lianxiang presided over the meeting.
Prof. Risch and Prof. Ma Lianxiang signed the Cooperation Agreement between UPB and QUST on Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering Program of CDTF, which symbolizes that the cooperation between the two universities has reached a new stage.
The meeting passed The Minutes of the 7thSession of CDTF Councilof May 4, 2010. The representatives present also watered and earthed up the camellia japonica, a symbol of last-forever friendship between the two universities.
During the council meeting, Prof. Risch awarded Ms. Guo Shaoni, a German teacher of CDTF, a total 18,000 euros scholarship and the certification of two-year study at UPB provided by German Academic Exchange Service.
