From January 8th to 10th, Trans COSMOS (Japan) ,Qingdao Zuki Industrial Design Co.,Ltd recruited employees from QUST Industrial Design Post-bachelor Station. After the rigorous selection and tests, 45 students were selected, 30 of them will work in
Japan
and 15 are employed by Qingdao Zuki.
The recruitment was a two-phased process:During Phase One (Dec. 16th-18th 2008), students were tested in terms of basic knowledge, expertise, and special software using abilities; Phase Two (Jan. 8th-10th 2009) was for interviews, emphasizing on the examination of students’ Japanese competence, their knowledge on WTO commercial rules and ISO Quality Management Principles, as well as on related business etiquettes. Only those who could pass both of the two phases would be hired.
Mr. Hao Wensheng, the person-in-charge of the Station and the Director of Industrial Design Department of Art College, introduced that the Industrial Design Post-bachelor Station was jointly established in March, 2006, by Trans COSMOS (
Japan
) ,Qingdao Zuki Industrial Design Co.,Ltd and QUST. It is a platform for providing high-quality talents of industrial design for large-scale enterprises at home and abroad. 180 students have been offered job opportunities through this platform. Among them, 14 students had been employed by Trans COSMOS (
Japan
) in 2007 and 2008. Their excellence at work has received approvals and compliments from the Company. According to the agreements, more than 40 students will get jobs in
Japan
each year in the following years.
It is reported that Trans COSMOS (
Dalian
) Ltd had employed 30 students from different universities in
Qingdao
through the Station. The practice of the Station has provided rich referential experience for QUST to broaden the job hunting channels, and make full use of employment resources in
China
and across the world.
