From 17th to 21st, June, Professor Bolivar, the Vice President of University of Siegen, Professor Griese, the Head of Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, and Professor Ehrhardtin visited QUST.

President of QUST Professor Ma Lianxiang and Vice President Professor Li Qingling respectively met Professor Bolivar and his colleagues. Professor Li Qingling warmly welcomed them and introduced to them the history of QUST, the development of our teaching, scientific researches, laboratories, student management, faculties and cooperation in running joint-schools and so on. He especially emphasized the fast development of China-Foreign cooperation in running schools. Vice President of University of Siegen, Professor Bolivar briefly introduced their university to us as well. Both the two universities expressed their willing to achieve further bilateral cooperation at different levels.

Heads of Sino-German College of Science and Technology, College of Information Science and Technology, College of Automation and International Office of QUST attended the meeting and discussion on cooperation agreement. On the afternoon of 20th, June, a cooperation agreement was signed between Sino-German College of Science and Technology of QUST and the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of University of Siegen.

During their visit, Professor Bolivar and his colleagues also looked around the campus, including History Museum of QUST and other teaching facilities.
