On behalf of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, President Ma Lianxiang has sent a letter of sympathy to our Japanese partners: ALPS, TransCOSMOS, Fukuoka Institute of Technology, Tohoku University and the Japanese Consulate at Qingdao, etc.

After the Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami happened in the afternoon of March 11, 2011, the University has immediately expressed condolences to the Japanese teachers and students in our university. What comforts us is that they have not been influenced very much by the disaster. We wish that the Japanese hit by the earthquake will soon recover from the catastrophe.
