On the morning of 31st, August, the Appointment Ceremony for Dr. Sung-Hae Choi, the president of Korea Dong Yang University (DYU), to be a part-time professor of QUST was held at Laoshan Campus. Dr. Li Qingling, the Vice President of QUST, presented the appointment letter to Dr. Sung-Hae Choi. The appointment ceremony was presided by Prof. Li Li, the Dean of College of Economics and Management. Prof. Jiang Dejie, the Head of International Exchange and Cooperation Office (IECO), attended the ceremony.

After the ceremony, Dr. Li Qingling and Dr. Sung-Hae Choi attended the Opening Ceremony for the Sino-Korean Joint Education Program between QUST and DYU. Both of them gave speeches at the ceremony, encouraging students to make unremitting effort to improve themselves and become international talents.

Dr. Sung-Hae Choi got his Doctorial Degree of Education at Baptist College & Seminary of Washington , USA , in 1995, from then on he has been working as the President of DYU. Dr. Sung-Hae Choi always pays close attention to the communication and cooperation with China , and has made great contributions to the joint program with QUST.
