The signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation between QUST and People's Government of Mengyin Countywas held at 5004 Meeting Room in Laoshan Campus. Ma Lianxiang, president of QUST, Lv Wanxiang, vice-president of QUST, Wang Liyun, magistrate and deputy secretary of Mengyin County,Ren Dapeng, deputy county magistrate and other leaders from QUST and Mengyin County attended the ceremony. The signing ceremony was presided over by Nie Faliang,director of the Organization Department of QUST.
Ma Lianxiang welcomed the delegation of Mengyin County headed by Wang Liyun. He pointed out that thejust closed 19thCPC National Congress set forth the requirements and indicated the direction for higher education, scientific and technological innovation, and cooperation between production and education. Ma Lianxiang hoped that both sides would further strengthen exchanges in industry-university-research cooperation, further keep the close cooperation relationshipbetweenuniversity and the local government, and look forward to further achievements. Wang Liyun expressed her thanks to QUST for its support and help to Mengyin County. She hoped thatMengyin County would further strengthen the cooperative relationship with QUST, and promote the economic and social development of Mengyin County by taking the advantages of QUST.
It is learned that according to the agreement, the two sides will strengthen cooperation in mechanical equipment manufacturing and automation, high-tech materials and other fields,promotetalents exchange and training, the transformation of scientific and technological achievementsbased on the principle of“complementary advantages, mutual benefit, pragmatism and efficiency,mutual development”.
