On the afternoon of April 9, Terry Getts, Jim Anderson, Fubren Barrois, Xu Shuliang of France Michelin Tire R&D Center visited the Key Laboratory of Rubber-plastics, Ministry of Education（abbreviated as KLR).

After the visit, the two sides held cooperation and exchange meeting on establishing R&D center cooperatively. Professor Guo Zhongjv, director of Science and Technology Department, Zhao Shugao, director of the KLR, Xin Zhenxiang, Dean of School of Polymer Science and Engineering, and some teachers attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Zhao Shugao extended a warm welcome to the guests.He briefly introduced them the KLR development in recent years including its detailed laboratory construction, equipment management, research and development team, research trend, scientific research and transformation, foreign exchanges and cooperation etc. Terry Getts spoke highly of the management and achievements of the KLR, and introduced the Michelin Tre R&D Cnter. After their introductions, the two sides held communication and coordination of jointly setting up a R&D center in the KLR, including its possibility and prospect.
