The editing office of Journal of QUST (Natural Sciences) received a forwarded email from VINITI sent by Society of China University Journals in Natural Sciences and China Editology Society of Science Periodicals, informing that the Journal of QUST has been officially included in Russian Digest.

Editing office of Journal of QUST (Natural Sciences) presented its proposal to Russian Digest in March, 2006, and kept sending latest published Journals afterwards. Since Russian Digest would not include more Chinese journals in it in principle, it was not until in August, 2008, did Russian Digest agree to include QUST’s proposal published after 2006.

Joining in more international searching database is an important strategy for Chinese journals to win their global fame. Until now, Journal of QUST (Natural Sciences) has been included by three international searching systems out of the six top ones: Chemical Abstracts (USA), Scientific Abstracts (GB), and Digest Magazine (Russia), as well as by Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (USA) and Ulrich's Periodicals Directory (USA), showing that the academic and editorial quality of Journal of QUST (Natural Sciences) has been progressively recognized across the world.
